“Beltran got some real good shots in while against the cage. I would have liked to have seen him left alone to pursue that attack. I really dislike these breaks against the cage when one person is imposing his game, especially this fight where that was Beltran’s best option and where he was having his most success. I thought it was a close fight, but Barry won.
Beltran is a f****** savage, though. Dude has incredible heart and never gives up. I’m a big fan. Plus, he’s cool as f*ck outside of competition.”
Joe Rogan takes to the “World Wide Web” after reading the BJPENN.COM exclusive interview with Joey Beltran we did as part of our daily “5 O’clock Spotlight” series. If you missed the original story with Beltran click HERE to check it out. In the interview with Beltran, Joey expressed his thoughts on last Saturday’s fight against Pat Barry and his opinion that the judges made the wrong decision in the contest.
While Joe Rogan does not agree with Joey’s review of the fight, he does agree with his opinion that the referee inside the cage was too quick to pull the restart trigger when Joey would tie Pat up against the cage.
