Look. I sat through two hours of utter SHIT to get to this fight. Let the main event fighters fight until one guy isn’t moving. Lawler couldn’t wrestle a kitten; Smith and Daley are just sad, and women take 40 minutes to decide an outcome. Christ, Strikeforce is garbage.
Wow, your an idiot bro. That womans fight was great and did you not see the great wrestling from Lawlor jeeze? And Daley sad? With 20 KOs Daley was sad? Not to mention stand ups were so few and far between, Daley did more damage, defended 8 out of 10 takedowns from a division 1 wrestler and went for the only submission. Honestly, Tyron Woodley was gifted that fight because even though he wasnt doing anything from top position, Big John wouldnt stand it up.
Well, if you look closely, Herb Dean rushed in to stop the fight like 2 punches after the uppercut, he was stepping in with his back turned and back of his leg to Henderson so he himself wouldnt get hit. So in Herbs eyes the fight was to be stopped after the uppercut, I doubt he saw Fedor rolling over until he was already stopping the fight. Regardless, I think it was a good stoppage and that was a brilliant uppercut from Henderson.
I agree wish some other people would realize that though. They only seem to see that Fedor was rolling over but Herb Dean was already trying to stop the fight. I can kinda relate to how Fedor feels about it being stopped early but in wrestling refs call pins early all the time and whenever it would happen to me my coaches would just say don’t ever go to your back then.
Oh I dont dispute the stoppage, while Fedor probably could of kept fighting after that, there is no doubt in my mind he was out at least for a moment from that meteor of an uppercut. Ive seen fights where fighters faceplant and the ref kept the shit going. Daley vs Diaz is a prime example. I wanna see Hedno some back to the UFC and put Jon Jones lights out!

Fight was stopped toooooo early…. I’ve seen Fedor hurt worse that that and come back to win.
really john, what fight did you see fedor go limp like that..i seen him take a beating but never go limp like that..i think it was a good safe stoppage.. theres a difference when someone gets rocked bad and it gets stopped early but went out..they could have waited a couple shots more but in the end the outcome would still be the same..hendo dont pepper shots as you could see and its not like fedor turned over into guard or grabbed a hold of hendo, he just turned slightly over on his back. which would have helped nothing..he only got the chance to do that because ref was already getting in between them..all in all congrats Hendo…now go back to the ufc and shut chael’s mouth like you did bispings.
Far enough Mr. Anonymous, I thought Herb was stepping in for the shots to the back of the head which last I remember were illegal in MMA… those were the shots that has Fedor doing the wobble when he stood up. I still think the fight was stopped too early…. Hendo’s got a horse shoe up his arse if you ask me.

Bunch of idiots, Fedor was OUT, how many times do you have to say Fedor was OUT!!!!!!! If you really love MMA then the last thing you would EVER want is for a fight to continue after a person was knocked out. If Henderson had not jumped on Fedor, then Fedor would have stayed face down because he was OUT, the first punch or second that Henderson landed WOKE Fedor up. I don’t care if the role was reversed and if it was Henderson laying face down, the damn fight should have been STOPPED!!! Thank god Herb Dean unlike many people on this site that truly dont know MMA was in the ring making sure that no one got seriously hurt.

Yeah I agree Fedor WAS a great fighter, but calling him a slouch is just plain retarded, was it a lucky shot that dropped Henderson, then another lucky shot that dropped Fedor? Probably on both, it was just that Henderson was a bit luckier, I really like both fighters, I do think Fedor has lost a few steps, and if I was Dana, I would sign him again for a 1 fight contract, and put him in against Randy Coture, I promise that Randy would come out of retirement for that fight, and I think it would be a very evenly matched fight, then let Fedor do what he wants after that fight, if he looses again, release him, if he wins, keep him around, he isn’t old, he might not be the best anymore, but the man is a legend and he deserves respect regardless of his last 3 losses the man is a beast, and I would bet he would KO any hater from this website in under 30 seconds unless the hater ran like a little b@tch

Big John McCarthy often talked about how he watches for fighters to wake up after they hit the canvas. He has said in the past that he waits to see if someone who is knocked out on their feet recovers. He would then allow them to fight. Honestly, it was Fedor’s aggression that has done him in in this fight and Werdum’s fight. legitimately he was kicking Werdum’s butt and got overconfident. Same with the end of that round. He was trying to finish Hendo and wasn’t smart and got caught. He still looks like he has the skill set to be among the best. Let him fight Werdum again and work his way back up.
