About time we hear of a big endorsement for A. Silva. Make that money Spidey, no one deserves it more in the fight game

  2. TranceAngel

Wtf does Nike have to do with MMA ??? Anderson sponsored by the chinese sweat shop co.

A farce just like the little Spidey. WAR OKAMI !!!

    • Ken

TranceAngel Shut the fuck up you granola eating bitch..Like you live your life so pure that nothing could be traced back to some kind of oppression.. Example if your white then your ancestors where evil oppressors.. Its a endorsement Bitch and it brings Big named sponsors to the UFC which they need..

    • your a idiot, what does Gatorade have to do with gsp?. fuck your dumb.

    • ThaGreenBandit

Huh? What? You lost me with “wtf does Nike have to do with MMA???” Hmmmm, maybe Nike is an ATHLETIC apparel company, and MMA fighters are ATHLETES who compete in MMA? I might be reaching, but maybe that’s the connection…

    • 8boll

What an un-educated troll… TranceAngel sounds like a dude that has ingested far too many ecstacy tablets to have any grip on reality…

Oh here it comes..the downfall of MMA money many times ruins pro sports….
does anybody watch basketball these days???? pro basketball sucks and it started with the greatest basketball player of all time MJ..
but more power to the athletes…after all this is just a business and people want to get paid.

    • MFbrian88

How will MMA fall? Nike is a huge company that will only help it grow.Of course MMA and the UFC is a business. The suits gotta get paid too…

If fighters want to get paid then let them get paid. Don’t be quick to judge and call them sellouts. They deserve it. I’m sure if Nike came to you as an MMA fighter you would gladly pick up the pen and sign.

      Good job Silva.

  4. JOSH C

why would you want to sponser anderson, ok yes he is the best fighter but he is not the most popular, he has little interatction with his fans and dosent speak english (although he knows how) i think a rampage, jon jones, bj ,GSP would have been a better move by nike, anderson just dosent make as many public apperance and cant promote a fight to save his life.

    • T Scott

Yo about that promoting a fight bullshit…..His name is all that is necessary to promote a fight…that, and maybe a highlight reel…thats all he needs…Its Mixed Martial Arts….and u wouldn’t have MMA without Martial Arts, and every last discipline promotes respect…..I know vitor played the same face game that Anderson always does against his apponents when he fought anderson, and anderson did likewise, as usual, and EVERYBODY saw that fight and watched vitor get murdered….Its not the fact that Anderson does not know how to promote a fight, its that he so much of a beast, that nobody ever believes he has a chance to get beatin by his opponents….

    • Ken

@ Josh Did you no that Anderson Silva comes from a country that speaks his language and will be able to understand him? And in America all you have to show is Anderson Silva highlights and have him say a sentence in English which he can do.

    • Anonymous

He doesn’t need to talk in the commercials lol..itll be a narrarator’s voice in the background with his face haha

    • ThaGreenBandit

I’m sure that Nike’s marketing department could use you to show them how to properly endorse their product, but something tells me that they just may have known what they were doing when they made their decision to choose Silva, but hey, it’s only Nike. What do they know…?

    • 8boll

News flash Josh C. America and English are not the only countries or languages Nike know! You’re so ignorant it’s beyond belief! BTW Nike are HUGE in Brazil and have MANY vested intrests there like the National Soccer team so just because AS doesn’t suck up to idiots like yourself, doesn’t mean he’s not apreciated elsewhere, hence Nike’s interest in him. I think the people at Nike know a bit more about the topic than your coach potato dumb@ss!

  5. Aaron

to Josh. I’m sure there is a shit ton of Brazilians wearing nikes and soon to be some more. From the other fighters mentioned, it doesn’t look like Nike wants to be affiliated too much in the states yet.

  6. Anderson Silva is going to be the best paid fighter hands down.. Sponsored by Nike and Burger king, plus his more then 1 million per fight brother is paid in the shade..

    • 8boll

Don’t know if the UFC pays him that well. I can recall a card where he defended his title and headlined the event but a certain Forrest Griffin was paid more than him on the very same card, as was disclosed ny the UFC themselves, so AS deserves every penny he earns outside the UFC because they don’t seem to value him as much as some of their headless fighters, Tito included!

  7. This article is very good,I like it very much, and I also like cheap Tennis Rackets sports series, hope we can share the fun of .

  8. I agree with your statement.I think we can talk about nike hyperfuse.

  9. JOSH C

Im just saying for anderson silvas fighting skills he should have a lot more fans than he actually does. i also herd that last year Brock lesner was the highest paid UFC fighter, which shows the relationship between pay and the ability to hype a fight and not entirly about skills. it was proven in strikeforces pre fight press coference that listing to fighters getting translated is boring as batshit, just ask robbie lawler what he thought about fedor speaking at the conference

    • H Bomb

Ander doesn’t have that many fans cuz he’s a DOUCHEBUCKET! By the looks of this post there’s only a few nutsuckers on here. He’ll never be a legend like FEDOR & HENDO!

      • ThaGreenBandit

Yeah. Of course he won’t. Ever! Says you…

      • MFbrian88

        Fedor? Come on man…..

      • Josh

He already is a legend. He makes other fighters look like jokes and he’s been dominating the UFC ever since his first fight in it. I will have to agree though there is only a few nutsuckers on here and your one of them.

      • Danny

He whupped Hendo’s ass!… He’d whup Fedors too so calm your hating ass down. You’re just mad at his 13 fight winning streak soon to be 14 coming the 27th! Also Soon to be 9 time Defending UFC Champion! 70% accurate striking since his debut in the UFC!.. You call us Fans Nutsuckers but what happens when you root for your fighter??? Your just as much as one aren’t ya??

Best MMA Fighter P4P King Sponsored by Nike!! Forget the rest! Let the man get paid and support his Family while you sit at home Drinking the Haterade, Your mom pours you each morning

    • 8boll

Brock is an even bigger douche! He’s only paid so well and apparently has so many fans because he brought them with him from his WWE days! No MMA fan is either a fan or impressed by the freak show that is Brock Lesnar…

The look on his face says it all…DERRRRRR!
