निक NSAC द्वारा लिया गया Diaz के खिलाफ पहली आधिकारिक कदम | अस्थायी निलंबन जारी

A meeting held today in the State of Nevada by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) started the process in determining the licensing fate of UFC welterweight fighter निक Diaz.

During the hearing the NSAC confirmed what we already knew and that is that they are officially taking action against Diaz for failing his UFC 143 drug test and testing positive for marijuana use.

The meeting today was just a formality that marks the first step in the longer process in suspending Diaz for his infraction. It is widely accepted that Diaz will receive a 12 month suspension, unless his team can string together a successful defense that includes his legal right to use medical marijuana as prescribed by his doctor under California Prop: 215 और SB 420.

MMAFighting.com had a Representative their live and here is a clip from their report:

“During Wednesday’s meeting, commission chairman Skip Avansino requested notes and minutes from the 2007 Nevada matter, as well as any related disciplinary information from other states in preparation of Diaz’s upcoming hearing.

The stage was also set for a possible defense that could include a retroactive request for a medical marijuana exemption, as Eccles noted a belief thatthe question will come upgiven Diaz’s personal license for medical use in California.”

NSAC Executive Director Keith Kizer has stated that the usual punishment for first time marijuana offenders is a six-month suspension and fine and the standard punishment for second time offenders is an additional six-month suspension coupled with a fine.

This is Nick’s second offense in the State of Nevada and out of his last three-fights in the state of Nevada he has failed for marijuana twice.

The date for Nick’s formal disciplinary hearing has yet to be set.

is everyone forgetting that nick is the idiot that failed the drug test he knew he had to take? they have these rules set up, yes they may suck and be stupid, but they are there. also all nick had to do was talk to the commission before and he could have gotten a pass on the marijuana, but because he is a punk ass too cool to follow the rules kinda guy he didn’t take the time. he is the idiot for not going through and getting done what had to be. let me say i don’t care about smoking weed, not my thing but to each his own. so i couldn’t care less about that, but all you people that wanna rage about how unjust it is that he is getting in trouble for this, HE KNEW IT WOULD HAPPEN! simple as that

They should make his druggie ass eat cheetos and watch Oprah for 6 months since the only thing he will be fighting is the munchies.

every one knew diaz smokes weed. Dana should have secured the exception for him.

I think it will be a 6 month suspension for not disclosing medical use upfront. At least that’s what would befair’, since Sonnen got off with 6 months for highly( no pun intended) elevated testosterone due to TRT abuse and not proven but very likely steroid abuse.
