The former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones shared some training footage to his Instagram account on Thursday. In on of his posts from Thursday, Jones said that he was “225-pounds 12 weeks out.”

While there is no confirmed fight for Jones set from the UFC, Jones and the UFC are hoping that they will be allowed to hold a UFC event in New York in April. Mixed martial arts is still outlawed in the state of New York.

Jones first fight since being suspended in 2015 for legal issues is expected to be against the current UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier who Jones previously beat back at UFC 182 in January of 2015.
