Charisa Sigala’s night ended early at BKFC Knucklemania 3 due to a nasty ankle injury. Sigala went one-on-one with Jayme Hinshaw inside the Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, New Mexico on February 17. This one only lasted 38 seconds, as Sigala landed awkwardly on her ankle as a result of a knockdown. She tried putting her ankle back in place but to no avail.

Former UFC fighter Diego Sanchez believes his BKFC Knucklemania 3 loss to Austin Trout had some foul play. Sanchez and Trout did battle inside the Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA this past Friday night. Going into the bout, Sanchez was a massive betting underdog, given that Trout is a former WBA super-welterweight titleholder and the fight was contested under bare-knuckle boxing rules. The oddsmakers were proven correct, as Trout earned the fourth-round TKO finish via doctor’s stoppage.

Strickland was well aware of Diego Sanchez’s fourth-round TKO loss to former WBA super-welterweight titleholder Austin Trout in a bare-knuckle boxing showdown this past Friday night. Sanchez and Trout collided at BKFC Knucklemania 3 inside the Tingley Coliseum in Albuquerque, N.M.

Tonight’s BKFC Knucklemania 3 event is co-headlined by a fight between UFC Hall of Famer Diego Sanchez and Austin Trout. Sanchez (30-14 MMA) will be competing for the first time since suffering a unanimous decision loss to Kevin Lee in the main event of Eagle FC 46 last March. ‘The Nightmare’ has gone 1-3 over his last four contests, with his lone victory in that time coming in the form of a disqualification win over Michel Pereira.

BKFC president David Feldman is unsure what Paige Vanzant’s future in combat sports holds. ’12 Gauge’ has been out of action since her bout with Rachel Ostovich at BKFC 19 in July 2021. In that outing, Vanzant wound up being outstruck en route to a unanimous decision defeat. The loss put the UFC veteran back to 0-2 in her BFKC run, having previously lost to Britain Hart in February.
