Mike Perry is currently in talks for an April fight with Dillon Danis in Misfits MMA. ‘El Jefe’ was set to return to the boxing ring earlier this month under the Misfits Boxing banner. Dillon Danis hasn’t been seen in action since his loss to Logan Paul in late 2023, but he accepted a short-notice bout against KSI. ‘The Nightmare’ was initially set to face footballer Wayne Bridge, but the bout was canceled after the 44-year-old withdrew. For his part, KSI withdrew from the bout earlier this month due to illness.

Former heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder will return to the boxing ring in June. ‘The Bronze Bomber’ hasn’t been seen in the boxing ring since a meeting with Zhilei Zhang last summer. That night in Saudi Arabia saw ‘Big Bang’ flatten the former heavyweight champion, scoring a fifth-round knockout win. The defeat was a particularly brutal one for Deontay Wilder, who entered the bout having lost three of his last four fights. Following the loss to Zhang, many called for the heavyweight to retire from fighting.

If UFC light-heavyweight Alex Pereira defeated Magomed Ankalaev earlier this month, he had some big plans. ‘Poatan’ is fresh off his return to the cage in Las Vegas earlier this month. Back for the first time since a knockout win over Khalil Rountree Jr. last fall, Alex Pereira finally met Magomed Ankalaev. The Russian entered the bout riding a 14-fight unbeaten streak, last handing Aleksandar Rakic a defeat last October. Ahead of the bout, the Brazilian was openly discussing future bouts against Jon Jones, and even Oleksandr Usyk.

The only man to hand Jake Paul a pro boxing loss scoffs at his claim that he can defeat Anthony Joshua. Paul has been known to draw attention to himself and his business ventures. “The Problem Child” will claim he can defeat the likes of Joshua and Canelo Alvarez, yet will only fight the likes of a 58-year-old Mike Tyson and aging MMA fighters. Many believe it’s a sound strategy from Paul, who has been building MVP Promotions. Paul’s name recognition has allowed him to sign renowned female champions to his company.

Dana White didn’t respond to Logan Paul’s offer to fight in the UFC. ‘The Maverick’ hasn’t been seen in action since his boxing match with Dillon Danis in October 2023. That night saw Logan Paul largely dominate ‘El Jefe’, ultimately earning a disqualification win in the sixth round after a failed takedown from the grappler. Following that win, the YouTuber-turned-fighter announced his “retirement” from boxing. However, that doesn’t mean that Paul is done competing.

Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson has paid tribute to the late great George Foreman. Over the weekend, ‘Big George’ passed away at the age of 76. A gold medalist at the 1968 Summer Olympics, George Foreman quickly found success as a member of the professional ranks. In early 1973, he demolished the legendary Joe Frazier inside three rounds, handing him a devastating knockout loss to win his first heavyweight titles. Just two years later, Foreman would meet Muhammad Ali in Zaire for the ‘Rumble in the Jungle’.
