Boxers and MMA Fighters react to last night’s Canelo vs. GGG draw
The highly anticipated boxing match between Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez and Gennady ‘GGG’ Golovkin took place last night in Las Vegas.
The fight lived up to the hype, as Canelo and Golovkin went to war for twelve rounds in a very close back and forth tilt.
The thrilling match resulted in a controversial split draw, as one judge scored the bout a draw (114-114) while the other two judges scored the bout for Golovkin (115-113) and for Canelo (118-110).
The 118-110 scorecard of Adelaide Byrd was highly criticized following the bout and caused a plethora of negative reactions from boxers and MMA Fighters on Twitter.
