If Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor never had their big-money boxing match this year, there is no doubt that the biggest boxing fight this year would be between Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin. The two boxing stars are set to fight in their championship fight for the IBF, IBO, WBA, and WBC middleweight titles this weekend on Saturday, September 16 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. In this video, we take a look at some of Alvarez’s amazing knockouts and power punches displayed throughout his career. Canelo holds a 49-1-1 professional boxing record with 34 wins coming by way of KO/TKO. Alvarez’s only loss took place back in 2013 against undefeated great, Floyd Mayweather. Alvarez also has one draw on his record from his fifth professional fight back in 2006 against Jorge Juarez.

The two talents will collide on September 16 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The fight stands out as perhaps the biggest and most important that can currently be made in boxing – though a certain Irishman would argue otherwise. Though this fight is still months away, the early odds for it have already been released. As most boxing fans probably expected, GGG has been installed as a slight favorite over his Mexican foe.
