Rumors have been circulating since mid-summer about a Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor rematch in boxing, and now ‘Money’ himself has come out and publicly called for the fight in 2023. Mayweather is set to fight popular social media celebrity and MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura in Japan at Super RIZIN on September 25th. It’s not a serious or competitive bout, but the money is extremely good. According to Floyd, he’ll pocket $20 million for the nine minute boxing match … which could end quickly if Mayweather decides not to play with his food.

Floyd Mayweather is reportedly working on another exhibition match with a YouTuber. ‘Money’ is set to return to the boxing ring later this month in Japan. Mayweather will face MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura at the Saitama Super Arena, and will be his second bout in RIZIN. He first faced Tenshin Nasukawa in December 2018.

Floyd Mayweather returns to Japan for another exhibition bout under the RIZIN banner on September 25th, and now his bodyguard ‘Jizzy’ will compete alongside him on the undercard. Ray Sadeghi, known professionally by his questionable nickname ‘Jizzy Mack,’ will compete at Super RIZIN against kickboxer ‘Kouzi,’ aka Koji Tanaka. The bout was recently revealed on RIZIN FF’s official Twitter account, so we assure you this is real. The announcement states the ‘free weight’ fight will be contested under ‘standing bout rules.’

UFC president Dana White has shot down rumors of Conor McGregor returning to boxing. In August 2017, fans were treated to a super fight between two of the biggest combat sports stars ever. At the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, then-lightweight champion McGregor met undefeated professional boxer, Floyd Mayweather.

According to a report from FightHype, there are discussions ongoing for a rematch between the two megastars. Mayweather who fought kickboxing phenom Tenshin Nasukawa and knocked him out under the RIZIN FF banner in December of 2019, has struck another deal with the promotion. RIZIN FF announced that Mayweather will take on MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura in an exhibition boxing match in September.

Floyd Mayweather gave Don Moore a beatdown in Abu Dhabi. Mayweather and Moore collided in an eight-round exhibition match on May 21. The bout was initially supposed to take place atop a helipad in Dubai. Plans changed after the passing of UAE president Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed.

Floyd Mayweather will still be boxing after all. Mayweather was supposed to box Don Moore on May 14th atop the helicopter landing pad at Burj Al Khalifa Hotel in Dubai. Former UFC champion Anderson Silva was set to be on the card as well. However, just days before the event, due to the death of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, which has prompted the country to announce a three-day suspension of work, the event was canceled.

It was to be boxing legend Floyd Mayweather against fellow undefeated pugilist ‘Dangerous’ Don Moore on Saturday, May 14th atop the helicopter landing pad at Burj Al Khalifa Hotel in Dubai. The two were to battle in the Global Titans Fight Series pay-per-view (PPV) main event.

The fight was a no-contest, due to there being no judges on hand for the fight.

Back in June, Paul and Mayweather had a highly-anticipated exhibition match that went all eight rounds and the YouTuber did better than expected. The fight was also a massive success as it did over one million pay-per-view buys. But, even with that, Logan Paul was not paid. Jake Paul later revealed that his brother was going to sue Mayweather over the debacle.
