The bout between Jake Paul and Ryan Bourland will take place in Puerto Rico.

Paul, 27, will be coming into the bout with 8 wins (5 by knockout) and 1 loss.

‘The Problem Child’ last fought and defeated Andre August with a first round knockout last December (see that here).

Bourland, 35, has 17 wins (6 by knockout) and 2 losses coming into his fight with Paul.

The Californian previously fought in the National Junior Olympics and is a former Golden Gloves champion. Retiring in 2018, Bourland took his career to the North Dakota oil rigs.

Bourland re-entered the ring in September of 2022, defeating Santario Martin by TKO.

Taking to ‘X‘, with a promotional poster of himself and Bourland, Jake Paul stated:

“The goal is simple, build the skillset to become world champion. Next up is a guy who has twice as many professional fights under his belt than I do. Ryan ‘The Rhino’ Bourland. And just like the animal in his bone chilling nickname… he is also endangered.”

Paul also announced that he’ll be donating his purse from the event to his nonprofit, Boxing Bullies:

“I’m fighting for experience, not for the money and to show my love for this beautiful island I’ll be donating my entire fight purse from this event to my nonprofit Boxing Bullies to help renovate gyms across Puerto Rico.”

Bourland gave his take on the upcoming match-up with Paul saying:

“Jake Paul steps into the ring with his social media clout, but let’s not mistake followers for experience or skill. While he’s been busy chasing likes, I’ve been honing my craft for years, stepping into the ring and beating real boxers. On Saturday, March 2, I will shock the world and put an end to Jake Paul’s boxing career.”

Will you be watching on March 2nd? Any predictions for the outcome of the match between Paul and Bourland?
