While Conor McGregor has yet to have an official date or opponent for his boxing debut, numerous high profile boxers have been calling out the UFC superstar for a potential boxing match, most notably Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. While Mayweather offered McGregor $15 million to accept a boxing match, UFC President Dana White was quick to counter the offer, countering Mayweather with an offer of $25 million for both men. Mayweather of course laughed off the offer, reiterating that he wouldn’t fight for less than $100 million.

News surfaced Friday morning that famed boxer Manny Paquiao has reportedly been booked to fight the one and only Adrien Broner. While Pacquiao has stated that he is retired, Golden Boy Promotions VP Eric Gomez wanted to work out a deal to bring Pacquiao out of retirement to fight Canelo Alvarez. When Gomez tried to set the fight up, he learned an interesting bit of information, Pacquiao is already fighting Adrien Broner. Gomez spoke to Boxing Scene about the situation:

This past weekend Manny Pacquiao stepped into the boxing ring for the final time as he faced Timothy Bradley in a trilogy fight. Pacquiao ultimately won the fight via unanimous decision, knocking Bradley down two times during the course of the fight. Following the fight however, Mayweather reportedly told Bradley that he scored the fight a draw.
