Mayweather breaks world record in Moscow
This past weekend not only did Floyd Mayweather Jr. get a rare indian baby tiger during his time in Moscow, he also broke a world record!
A boxing clinic put on by Mayweather broke a world record for number of participants. 791 people participated in the event as 3,000 people watched on. The record was recorded by Guinness World Record official Sofia Greenacre.
Mayweather spoke about the clinic, which was transcribed BoxingScene about the world record:
“I want to thank everyone who came today. My career has been an adventure, and if [it] wasn’t for your faith and support, I would not have been able to achieve everything that’s been achieved. I respect my fans around the world, and in Russia we have some time to lift boxing to a new level. If you believe that, then I believe. Everyone who is here today is part of history, and we are all making history.”
