UFC CEO Dana White has given his take on the announced boxing match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson. Tyson is a legend of the sweet science, but he will be 58 years old when he steps inside the ring with the 27-year-old Paul in an event that will air  on Netflix. While no boxing expert believes Paul is a great prospect, his knockout power has long been proven and that could mean disaster for the far older Tyson on July 20. Some fight fans are having flashbacks to the 2021 boxing match between Evander Holyfield and Vitor Belfort, which saw “The Phenom” stop Holyfield, who was approaching 59 years old at the time, in the first round.

Jake Paul has opened as a large betting favorite for his newly announced boxing match with Mike Tyson. It was Jake Paul who earlier today broke the news that he would be fighting Mike Tyson on Saturday, July 20th at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The boxing bout will stream exclusively on Netflix.

Francis Ngannou was just as surprised as everyone else to see Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson going down in the boxing ring. ‘The Predator’ is currently slated to return to boxing this Friday night in Saudi Arabia. For Francis Ngannou, the fight will be the second in the ring, as he faces former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. Last October, the PFL star made his debut, against Tyson Fury.

“Iron” Mike Tyson has his pick for the heavyweight title unification bout between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk. Queensberry Promotions and Top Rank Boxing announced plans to book Fury vs. Usyk before “The Gypsy King” fought Francis Ngannou. While no date was announced, reports surfaced claiming the hope was to have the Usyk fight take place before the end of this year. Fury got more than he bargained for against Ngannou, suffering a knockdown and barely winning the fight via split decision.

For his part, Francis Ngannou entered the matchup a massive underdog, despite his all-star corner, including Mike Tyson, Eric Nicksick, and Dewey Cooper. Meanwhile, Tyson Fury was a 14-to-1 favorite for the bout.

Atlas, who is a legendary boxing trainer, claims that Ngannou was seeking his assistance ahead of the big October 28 bout against Tyson Fury. Atlas even claims to have helped the former UFC Heavyweight Champion with a technique, but he was taken aback when it was revealed that “The Predator” is being trained by Mike Tyson.
