Paulie Malignaggi claims he was sparring Conor McGregor at “34%”, still wants to fight him
Conor McGregor‘s battle with Floyd Mayweather Jr. is now in the past, but his sizzling beef with former boxing champ Paulie Malignaggi is not.
Malignaggi’s beef with McGregor stems from their now infamous sparring sessions, during which McGregor claims he got the better of – and even dropped – the retired boxer. Though there is now some legitimate evidence that these claims are at least partially true, Malignaggi is continuing to refute them, and continuing to call for the chance to settle his score with McGregor in the ring.
The former boxing champ went off on Monday’s edition of The MMA Hour. See some of the highlights of his tirade below:
“That was me [sparring] at 34%. If Conor doesn’t get stopped by me, I should give up a portion of my purse.” – Paul Malignaggi #TheMMAHour
