Canelo (55-1-2) put his WBA and WBC super middleweight world titles on the line last month when he squared off with Avni Yildiri. The result was a one sided beatdown for Alvarez, who emerged victorious by way of third round TKO.

Boxing star Ryan Garcia confirmed that he is set to take on legend Manny Pacquiao in an upcoming superfight between two of the sport’s elite. On Sunday evening, Garcia confirmed the rumors on his social media that he will be taking on Pacquiao. Mike Coppinger of The Athletic previously reported that this fight was making headway. Garcia, 22, is currently riding an impressive knockout win over Luke Campbell, and has been chomping at the bit for a fight with Floyd Mayweather protege Gervonta Davis. Beyond that, the young star could find himself in fights with the likes of Teofimo Lopez, Devin Haney, and Vasily Lomachenko.

Lightweight boxing star Ryan Garcia is calling for a match against Gervonta Davis just days after Gervonta knocked out Leo Santa Cruz. Davis picked up a devastating KO win over Cruz this past weekend in San Antonio, Texas. In his first appearance in the boxing ring in 2020, Davis picked up a sixth-round KO win to improve his overall boxing record to a perfect 24-0 with 23 knockouts. Davis is one of the top fighters at lightweight right now and so is Garcia, so a fight between them in the near future is certainly a possibility.

Boxing star Ryan Garcia says he is open to fighting Teofimo Lopez Jr. after his shocking upset win over Vasiliy Lomachenko on Saturday night. Lopez Jr. won a unanimous decision with the judges scoring it 116-112, 119-109, and 117-113 in his favor. Lopez Jr. was able to outbox Lomachenko for the majority of the rounds to take the win on the scorecards. Lopez Jr. is now 16-0 in his boxing career while Lomachenko dropped to 14-2. Lopez Jr. was the IBF lightweight champion coming into this fight and also added the WBA, WBO, and WBC titles with his big upset victory.

Henry Cejudo has told Ryan Garcia to sign the contract after the undefeated boxer called him out. Garcia is currently 20-0 as a professional while also being the WBC silver lightweight champion. Yet, the 21-year-old took shots at Cejudo and Dillon Danis in a recent interview with ESPN.
