Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury are reportedly finalizing their heavyweight clash. The two heavyweight champions have been in discussions for a fight for months now. The pair originally targeted a clash last December, but the bout failed to come to fruition. Due to ‘The Cat’ still recovering from an injury sustained in his rematch with Anthony Joshua, Fury instead faced Derek Chisora.

There is a ton of bad blood going into today’s (February 26) boxing tilt between Tommy Fury and Jake Paul. The two haven’t minced words ahead of their collision, with Fury saying that Paul will never box again after this match. “I’m going to be angry, I’m going to be frustrated at Jake Paul, he can’t fight,” Fury said to Top Rank. “I’m here on a paid vacation and if I’m worried about Jake Paul then I want to forget about winning a world title. That isn’t the case here, we are here super relaxed, on weight, and ready to go… When I’m done, this guy will never box again. If I have any dreams of winning a world title, I’m not fazed by Jake Paul and you will see that Sunday night.”

Tommy Fury believes this weekend will be the last time Jake Paul steps into a boxing ring as a professional. Fury and Paul are finally set to fight after their two previous matchups fell through. The two will fight on Sunday in Saudi Arabia in a highly-anticipated bout with both being confident they will KO the other. But, Fury has now taken it a step further as he claims when he beats Paul, the YouTuber-turned-boxer will never box again.

Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou isn’t jumping the gun on a Tyson Fury fight in 2023, but he’d like to get a deal in writing before “The Gypsy King” battles Oleksandr Usyk. Ngannou and Fury have expressed interest in throwing down at some point. Fury has laid out the rules for the bout, which calls for a boxing match, but with 4-ounce gloves. He suggested International Boxing Hall of Famer Mike Tyson serve as the special referee.

Ngannou is now a free agent after failing to come to terms on a new deal with the UFC. “The Predator” recently appeared on “The MMA Hour” and said he’s leaning more towards having a boxing match for his first post-UFC bout. He also said he’s fine with Fury’s suggestion for four-ounce gloves.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou is preparing to make his boxing debut in July, and hopefully against a big name. ‘The Predator’ has been out of action since his heavyweight title defense against Ciryl Gane at UFC 270. Despite fighting with a devastating knee injury, Ngannou prevailed, using his wrestling en route to a unanimous decision victory last January.

Two-time world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury ended his retirement for a trilogy fight with Derek Chisora this evening in London. The 34-year-old Fury (32-0-1, 23 KOs) had retired from boxing following his three fights against former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay ‘Bronze Bomber‘ Wilder.

Last Saturday night in Jeddah, Oleksandr Usyk defeated Anthony Joshua via split decision to retain the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight titles, whilst also capturing The Ring belt in the process. The contest was hard to call in the eyes of many but in the end, Usyk’s superior boxing ability got him the win he deserved – and put an end to his rivalry with the Englishman.

Ever since his win over Dillian Whyte, Tyson Fury has made it clear that squaring off with Francis Ngannou is just as much of a priority for him as an undisputed heavyweight championship showdown would be.
