Heavyweight boxing superstar Tyson Fury will make the crossover to MMA after his boxing career is over, says his father John Fury. The 33-year-old Fury is undefeated in pro boxing with a 30-0-1 record. His next opponent will be rival Deontay Wilder, in a trilogy bout that was recently postponed due to COVID-19 issues. Either way, there are still big fights left for Fury in boxing, including a fight against Anthony Joshua, but he is always thinking about the next step, and it could involve MMA.

Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder will no longer be having their trilogy fight on July 24. Fury was supposed to fight Anthony Joshua in a heavyweight unification fight. However, an arbitrator ruled Wilder was owed the third fight so it was quickly booked to happen on July 24 in Las Vegas. As the bout got closer, it began getting more hyped up but it will not happen. It was reported on Thursday that the fight was likely to be postponed after a COVID-19 outbreak in Fury’s camp. Now, boxing journalist, Dan Rafael reports Fury was one of many who tested positive and the fight has been postponed.

Fury and Wilder meet this summer for the third time in a highly-anticipated grudge match between the two heavyweight rivals. These two have previously fought twice, with the pair fighting to a split draw in December 2018 and then Fury knocking Wilder out in their rematch in February 2020. Fury was expected to have a boxing match against Anthony Joshua this summer, but it was ruled that Fury had to have the trilogy fight with Wilder first. He will now take on his rival this summer ahead of their boxing match on July 24.

The two have previously fought twice, the first time fighting to a split draw and then Fury taking the rematch via TKO last year. The two will now meet on July 24th in Las Vegas in what will be one of the biggest boxing matches of the summer.

Ngannou is coming off of a massive knockout win over Stipe Miocic at UFC 260 to become the new heavyweight champion of the world in mixed martial arts. “The Predator” is currently in talks to fight former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones or potentially even Derrick Lewis if that fight doesn’t work out. He knows that his calling right now is in the Octagon and Ngannou is fully prepared and ready to take on all comers in MMA. However, he came up as a boxer and he still has aspirations to competing in boxing again.
