Speaking to the media ahead of his UFC 310 main card fight with fellow grappler Kron Gracie, Mitchell shared the surprising revelation that he doesn’t “believe in” seat belts.

That night saw Bryce Mitchell suffer a devastating first-round knockout loss. The defeat was the grappler’s first knockout defeat of his career and made him make a few changes. After a year away from the cage, Mitchell is now set to return.

UFC featherweight contender Bryce Mitchell’s newborn baby was allegedly in danger of being taken from him for his refusal to get the infant vaccinated. Mitchell hasn’t fought in the Octagon since a nasty knockout suffered against Josh Emmett at UFC 296 in December. He could potentially return to the cage by the end of 2024, but it remains to be seen when he’ll make his fighting comeback.

Bryce Mitchell has responded to Sean Woodson’s callout at UFC St. Louis. Woodson took on Alex Caceres on the main card of this past Saturday’s Fight Night event. The bout went the distance and “The Sniper” was awarded the unanimous decision win. After the fight, Woodson called for a clash with Mitchell (h/t MMAJunkie).

Bryce Mitchell is voicing his concerns over the millions of immigrants coming to America. Mitchell (16-3 MMA) recently fought Josh Emmett (19-4 MMA) this past December at UFC 296. The result was a KO victory at 1:57 of Round 1 for Emmett, who put Bryce out cold with a nasty right hand (see that here). ‘Thug Nasty’ now has 2 wins and 2 losses in his last 4 appearances in the Octagon.

Mitchell stepped up on less than 10 days’ notice to face Emmett in a pivotal fight for the featherweight division. Although Mitchell was stepping up on short notice, he was the betting favorite to defeat the heavy-handed KO artist.

Bryce Mitchell has spoken out on his UFC 296 loss against Josh Emmett at UFC 296. Mitchell took on Emmett on the main card of the UFC’s final event of 2023. This was supposed to be a preliminary bout, but with the removal of Ian Garry vs. Vicente Luque, the Mitchell vs. Emmett fight received a promotion. Mitchell was on the wrong end of a one-punch knockout in the opening frame. There was some concern for Mitchell, who appeared to be convulsing when he was unconscious, but the good news is he seems to be doing well in the aftermath.

Bryce Mitchell says he shouldn’t have fought Ilia Topuria as he was too sick. Mitchell suffered his first career defeat back in December as he lost by second-round submission to Topuria at UFC 282. It was a lopsided performance from Topuria and after the fight, Mitchell revealed he was sick and should have pulled out.

Ige and Mitchell have both been in the UFC since 2018, and with both men having success, the Hawaiian figured they would get matched up eventually. Although the bout took five years to come to fruition, Ige is excited to fight Mitchell who is now ranked in the top 10.
