Corey Anderson trolls Jan Blachowicz following title loss to Glover Teixeira at UFC 267
Adam D Martin - October 31, 2021
Corey Anderson trolled Jan Blachowicz following his title loss to new UFC light heavyweight champion Glover Teixeira at UFC 267. Blachowicz and Anderson fought twice in the UFC, and the two are still bitter rivals to this very day. The first time they met in the Octagon was at UFC 191 in September 2015. At that point in Blachowicz’s career, he was a very poor grappler and Anderson took advantage of it by taking him down for 15 minutes and grinding out a decision. The two then rematched five years later at UFC Rio Rancho in February 2020, with Blachowicz knocking out Anderson in the first round to earn a title shot at the light heavyweight belt.
Corey Anderson suggests Jan Blachowicz is "jealous" about how much money he makes in Bellator
Adam D Martin - October 27, 2021
Corey Anderson suggested that UFC light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz is “jealous” about how much money he makes fighting in Bellator. Anderson left the UFC as a free agent last year following a knockout loss to Blachowicz at UFC Rio Rancho, and he soon found himself in Bellator under the terms of a new, lucrative contract. Since joining Bellator, Anderson is 3-0 with three knockouts, and in his next fight, he will battle Bellator light heavyweight champion Vadim Nemkov for the belt and the $1 million prize for the Grand Prix tournament winner. But even before actually winning the tournament, Anderson says that he has already made more money fighting just three times in Bellator than he did in his entire career with the UFC. He believes that it makes Blachowicz jealous knowing how much he earns.

Anderson recently knocked out Ryan Bader in the semifinals of the Bellator Light Heavyweight World Grand Prix. Following the fight, he proclaimed himself as the best light heavyweight in the world despite the fact that Blachowicz KOed him just last year in the UFC. While it’s true that Anderson did beat Blachowicz the first time they met at UFC 191 in 2015, Blachowicz has since gone on to become the UFC light heavyweight champion. Since he is the champion, you have to give him the credit he deserves.
Jan Blachowicz trashes "coward and quitter" Corey Anderson following recent comments
Adam D Martin - October 21, 2021
UFC light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz trashed “coward and quitter” Corey Anderson following the recent comments that he made. Anderson knocked out Ryan Bader at Bellator 268 last weekend and, following his win, he said that he’s the best light heavyweight in the world right now. Blachowicz, however, vehemently disagrees with that assertion. The Pole is the UFC light heavyweight champion and just last February he knocked out Anderson in a devastating fashion. Although Anderson does have a previous win over Blachowicz from UFC 191 in 2015, the recent KO win by Blachowicz seems to indicate that, right now, he is the superior light heavyweight.

However, even though he hasn’t yet run through the whole bracket, Anderson is feeling very confident these days, and after knocking Bader out at Bellator 268, he said that he feels like he’s the best light heavyweight in the world these days. Blachowicz heard those comments and fired back at Anderson, reminding him that they fought just last February and it was the Pole who got the big victory when he knocked Anderson out.
