Amanda Nunes believes she is the best female mixed martial artist of all time. The Brazilian, who became a two-division UFC champion when she knocked out the great Cris Cyborg in December, proclaimed herself the GOAT at Monday’s UFC 239 media day. “Yeah, it’s for sure,” Nunes said (via MMA Junkie). “I am the greatest of all time. I beat the most dominating woman on the planet. I feel like I deserve it now.”

Amanda Nunes, who currently owns the UFC bantamweight and featherweight titles, is booked to defend her bantamweight title against Holly Holm at UFC 239 this summer. Should she successfully defend this title against the former bantamweight champion Holm, her plan is to then move back up to featherweight to defend that belt. “For sure (I plan to) defend both,” Nunes told reporters at the recent UFC seasonal press conference during UFC 236 fight week in Atlanta, Georgia (via MMA Junkie). “I will defend my belt at 135 then go up and defend my belt after at 145.”

Dan Lambert, the founder of American Top Team where Nunes trains, believes the new champ-champ will actively defend both titles. “I know in some of the deeper divisions they have, it’s impossible to be a champ-champ,” Lambert told MMAjunkie Radio. “How’s [Daniel Cormier] going to defend it against the best in the world at heavyweight and the best in the world at light heavyweight at the same time? It’s kind of impossible. But there’s not quite as many – I mean, obviously, the featherweight division, they don’t even have rankings out there. How many people do they even have there? So it may be possible for her to keep both.”
