He walked onto the scales early this morning in Gdansk, Poland weighing right at 145lbs for his fight with Andre Fili and proceeded to give most likely the best post-weigh-in speech in UFC history.

Just like that, The Russian Hammer has become The Siberian Express, with the Russian and Irish flag flapping in tandem behind the powerful locomotive. Win or lose, it’s hard not to like Artem Lobov. He’ll continue to try and climb into the rankings (as well as our hearts) tomorrow afternoon against Team Alpha Male’s Andre Fili on the undercard of UFC Poland. The prelims kick-off at 11:30am EST.
