Bellator 131 Results: Lawal Dominates Vedepo, Earns TKO Win

The fight played out exactly how experts said it would: Lawal dominating Vedepo in every aspect.

Rounds one and two kicked off with immediate takedowns from Lawal, to which Vedepo had no chance of stopping. Every single time Vedepo tried to get back to his feet, Lawal would grab a leg push him up against the fence which restricted him from standing up.

Joe Vedepo proved to be too aggressive as he left himself open for a left-right combination from Lawal in the third round. The brutal combo wobbled Vedepo and Lawal pushed him to the ground. Lawal did not give Vedepo a chance to recover and it was only a matter of time before the referee stepped in to wave the fight off.

Lawal consoled Vedepo after the fight and informed him that he was surprised he could take that much punishment.
