Bellator 138 Results: Bobby Lashley Dominates Charles And Gets TKO Finish
The heavyweights stepped into the Bellator cage when Bobby Lashley fought Dan Charles.
The big guys touched gloves and went to work. Charles came out with a body kick early. Soon after Lashley shot in and got the takedown. Charles was able to get up to his feet quickly. Charles landed a nice knee. Lashley returned the favor with a massive right hand, then shot in again and got a takedown. Charles tried to get up, Lashley picked him up from the back and slammed him down. Charles managed to get to his feet again, with Lashley pushing him against the cage. Lashley picked him up again and slammed him down. Charles got to his feet quickly, with Lashley still holding on to him, he pulls him down to the ground briefly. Charles continued to get to his feet. Lashley picked him off the ground again and put him down. Lashley dominated the round.
In the second Charles came out with a head kick, that was blocked. Lashley came in for a takedown and ate a knee to the body. He got him down. Charles tried to grab an arm of Lashley’s, but got picked up and slammed again. Lashley continued to slam Charles over and over again. Really the fight could have been stopped half way through the second. Lashley kept slamming Charles and landing big punches to his head. Charles just basically laid there and took it.
