Bellator 138 Results: Michael Chandler Is Back! Submits Campos In Front Of Hometown

The first fight on the televised main card was former champion Michael Chandler vs. Derek Campos.

Right away both fighters came out to the center. Campos landed a nice leg kick first. Chandler landed a nice jab and right hand. Both men were willing to stand and bang in the pocket. Chandler and Campos landed a few big punches in close range. Chandler landed a huge punch that dropped Campos. Chandler rushed in and looked to pour on the punches. He threw a flurry on punches but Campos was abele to survive.

Chandler stayed on him and kept the pressure up. Campos rolled and gave up his back. The former champion wasted no time working for a choke. Chandler locked in a rear naked choke and there was no way Campos was getting out of it.

Campos was forced to tap early in the first. This was a big win and impressive performance for Chandler in front of his hometown.
