Joe Warren On The Time He Sandbagged A Wrestling Match Against Scott Jorgensen
Joe Warren aka ‘The baddest man on the planet’ and the current Bellator MMA bantamweight champion talked to the guys over at Stud Show Radio (formerly Team Alpha Male Radio) during their Tuesday night episode.
Warren talked about wrestling quite a bit and during a conversation about the Grapple at the Garden event Warren talked about wrestling UFC fighter Scott Jorgensen. Apparently things didn’t go so well for Jorgensen, twice.
“I wrestled Jorgensen this year. I wrestled him twice actually. I pinned him in 13 seconds the first match.”
“We wrestled again. At the end of the deal they were like Joe you messed everything up, this is pay-per-view, you were supposed to be 20 minutes, you wrestled for 13 seconds. So they’re like you’ve got to do something. So Jorgensen came out and called me out again, so I pinned him again.”
“The second time we did a first round, you know, it was a good time. I let him take me down, we played, but Mark was having a little problem with it.”
Mark would be one of Warren’s coaches who had a problem with his athlete sandbagging the match. So Warren went out and pinned Jorgensen in the second round.
