‘King Mo’: ‘Mayweather vs. Berto Will Be Exciting’
Bellator light heavyweight ‘King Mo’ Lawal isn’t sure why everyone is dismissing Saturday night’s Mayweather vs. Berto fight.
The fighter, who will be competing in Bellator’s four-main one-night tournament, taking place on their ‘Dynamite’ event on Sept. 19, told the Three Amigos Podcast that he’s excited for the Mayweather fight and thinks it’s for sure going to be an exciting fight.
Check out his explanation:
“I think this fight’s going to be exciting. It’s kind of like when Floyd fought Cotto. He fought Cotto differently than he fought the rest. When he fought Canelo, he also fought him differently. He held his ground, just like he did with Maidana the first time; he held his ground. I think he’s going to hold his ground with Berto, and probably stop him in the ninth or tenth round. I think Berto will come out guns a’ blazing because historically, if you’ve watched his career, he’s never been in a boring fight. Let me tell you that. So, I think it’s gonna be a good fight.”
