March 17, 2013 Sergio Pettis, Danillo Villefort, Chidi “Chidi Bang Bang” Njokuani, & Ryan Martinez Join BJPenn.com´s FIST-ta-CUFF Radio Show 181
Our first guest this week is a Phenom. Sergio Pettis is stopping back in the shop and the last time we talked to him he was stepping into the cage with Jimmy Jones for RFA. Sergio was set to step back in the cage for RFA but injury has forced his fight to be taken off the card. The good news is the phenom is still stepping in the cage and now he’s doing it for North American Fighting Championship in Milwaukee, WI. We will talk to Sergio about the switch in cards, getting a chance to fight in front of the hometown crowd, and of course having his opponents change in such a short time. Sergio is always a great guest and we have plenty to talk about but before he joins the show get over to twitter and follow the Phenom @SergioPettis
Our third guest this week for FIST-ta-CUFF Radio on BJPenn.com is a bad man, don’t believe me watch his last fight for RFA! Chidi Njokuani is back on the show and ready to talk his upcoming fight for RFA 8. Chidi is riding a 4 fight win streak coming into this fight, with 3 of those wins coming by stoppage. Chidi is set to take on Jeremy Kimball in the Co-Main Event. We will discuss the match-up with Chidi, the decision to not rush a move to the big show, his amazing stand up skills, how comfortable he is when the fight hits the ground, and so much more. If I can tell you two things that go with the Njokuani name it’s brutal stand up and even better interviews. Follow Chidi on twitter @iBang_214
Our second guest this week was destined for greatness when it comes to fighting, he is son of Vale Tudo legend Francisco “Master Indio” Silva and the Godson of Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira. Danillo Villefort is stopping by the show to talk his debut fight for World Series of Fighting as he takes on Kris McCray. We will talk to Danillo about his time in the sport, making his debut for WSOF, growing up around legends in the fighting world, and how he thinks his younger years prepared him for where he is now in his career. Follow Danillo on twitter @IndioMMA
Our last guest is a heavyweight who has a wrestling pedigree that is better then half the people in the sport. I’m talking about Ryan Martinez, and Ryan is set to take on Travis Wiuff at Bellator 93. Ryan has been on the show before, where we spoke about his past and his wrestling credentials. Tonight we will talk to Ryan about his wrestling pedigree for those of you who missed our first interview with Ryan, his upcoming fight with Travis, and of course his future with Bellator and the current Bellator Heavyweight Division. Ryan is one of those fighters you not only need to get to know, but one you don’t want to miss when he fights cause he leaves it all in the cage. Follow Ryan on twitter @970King
