Matt Manzanares is stepping into the cage on a two fight win streak and looking to become the new RFA Flyweight Champion on November 22, at RFA 11. Rick Hawn is joining us in the second slot of this weeks show to talk his journey once again in the Bellator tournament, but this year in a new weight class. Rick is not only an Olympic judoka, but this will be his third Bellator tournament final in just two years. We will talk to Rick about living at the Olympic training center for 8 years to train, the Olympic experience, and how it is different from being at the point he is in his career inn MMA. The Bellator tournament is a grueling tournament where fighters earn their shot at the title, we will talk with Rick about what it takes to make it through the tourney, if it’s gotten easier after the third go around, his opponent, and his upcoming finals fight. Will “Ill Will” Brooks opens up hour number two and is ready to talk his match up against Alexander Sarnavskiy in the Season 9 Bellator Lightweight Final. Before we get around to talking about his time inside the Bellator cage we will talk with Will about his DREAM 18 fight December 31, 2012 in Japan. Will fought for Dream on the New Year Eve’s card and I am sure that he has a few stories about getting to fight in Japan on such a big card. We will also talk his last fight to get into the Finals, which was a rematch from last years Semi-final which saw Will beat by Saad Awad. Will is no stranger to the Bellator tournament and we will get his thoughts on what it takes to be successful. This is the first time for Will in the finals and we will talk about if with each step closer the nerves become stronger leading up to fight night. Joe Schilling is closing down the shop and if you know anything about his story; we have plenty to talk about. Joe has competed inside the world of Muay-Thai, MMA, boxing, and kickboxing. He has fought all over the US, in Thailand, and even at the Playboy Mansion. Joe recently became the inaugural Glory Middleweight Champion after winning their four man tournament. We will talk to Joe about his career, winning belts like it was nothing, and traveling around the world with fighting. We will discuss fighting in Thailand, having the fastest KO in American combat sports history, getting the nickname “Stitch ’em Up”, oh and of course we will have to talk about how Joe opened a gym called “The Yard” in an old jail… Yeah I told you guys their is plenty to talk about and we of course will save some time to talk his upcoming match against Wayne Barrett in the main event of Glory 12.
