WSOF Exec Hints That He Whooped Guillard In Sparring, Gracie Backs Him Up
Former UFC lightweight, WSOF lightweight and current Bellator fighter Melvin Guillard is preparing for his upcoming debut in the promotion.
However, in a recent interview WSOF VP Ali Abdel-Aziz completely blasted Guillard for how he acted while in the promotion.
Aziz said, among a lot of other things, that Guillard is ‘sh*t’ and will only ever be the champ of ‘tapping’. Guillard took to Twitter to respond to the VP’s comments.

Another thing Aziz said was that he actually sparred with Guillard in the past and ended up tapping him out easily.
If anybody has a question about me and Melvins sparring sessions contact greg jackson and he will tell you. He remembers. @arielhelwani

Looks like Renzo knows.
@AliAbdelaziz00 @arielhelwani Ali has been training with us for a very long time… I've seen him submit many high level grapplers 😉

What do you guys make of this whole beef. Was it right for the WSOF VP to rip into Guillard? It seems like things on both sides didn’t end well.
