Lètourneau will have her hands full in Honolulu, Hawaii, as she attempts to be the first women to beat the champion in MMA. The Canadian born Lètourneau may be an underdog heading into next weekend, but she feels she has a big advantage when it comes to experience.

Current X1 featherweight champion Timothy Teves (3-0 MMA) will take on former title holder Canaan Kawaihae (4-1 MMA) at Bellator 213 on December 15 in Honolulu. The bout will serve as both fighters promotional debuts.

Bellator and RIZIN are back in the business of co-promoting. It was recently announced that Bellator is sending their current bantamweight champion Darrion Caldwell to fight in RIZIN on New Year’s Eve. Caldwell will be heading to Japan to fight Kyoji Horiguchi for the RIZIN bantamweight title.

Former WEC and UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson will continue to fight in Bellator for the foreseeable future. The news of Henderson re-signing was first reported by MMAJunkie. It is being reported that Henderson’s contract is an “exclusive, long-term deal” with Bellator. However, it is not known how many fights the contract is for or when Henderson will return to the cage.

It appears the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) is still punishing people for the melee that occurred at UFC 229. Right now, Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov are indefinitely suspended with a hearing on December 10. Well, it appears one of McGregor’s teammates, Dillon Danis and one of Nurmagomedov’s, Zubaira Tukhugov will be facing discipline by the NSAC as well.

Sources confirmed the news with BJPenn.com earlier today. The card is set to take place at The Forum in Inglewood, California. Pico’s opponent is expected to be Henry Corrales.
