Tito Ortiz: ‘I Don’t Have The Advantage Anywhere’
Former UFC light heavyweight champion and current Bellator MMA fighter Tito Ortiz will fight for the promotion’s 205 title this Saturday at Bellator ‘Dynamite’ when he takes on the champ Liam McGeary.
McGeary’s coming in undefeated and taking on the vet Ortiz. Ortiz has been successful in his last few bouts and now looks to grab another title.
Ortiz gave an odd answer when talking to Yahoo Sports, saying that he really has no advantage anywhere.
Check it out!
“I don’t have the advantage anywhere. I really just think it’s an opportunity for me to expose the mistakes that will happen during the fight. I’m not looking for any advantages. He’s a great fighter.”
“I could’ve got an easier fight. I could’ve fought someone like Kimbo. Or, like Ken Shamrock. Or Frank Shamrock. But those are gimmes. Why would I want gimmes? I want to fight the best guys in the world, I’ve been doing it my whole career.”
Do you think Tito will be able to hand McGeary his first loss and pick up another belt for his legendary career.
