Tito Ortiz wants to ‘torture’ Chael Sonnen in rematch
Roughly two years after their first fight, Tito Ortiz and Chael Sonnen are still going at it.
The latest skirmish in the pair’s ongoing war of words occurred on Twitter. This time around, it was Sonnen who fired the first shot.
Hey stupid, @titoortiz straight up. Do you want to fight or not?

“Hey stupid [Tito Ortiz] straight up,” Sonnen wrote on Twitter. “Do you want to fight or not?”
It did not take long for Ortiz to respond.

“[Chael Sonnen] you said you would get back to me in 6 months and it’s only been 6 days since the new year,” Ortiz fired back. “Lol Looks like I’m going to stomp a bigger hole in your face. No submission this time. Smashing time! Let’s fight winner take all? You’re going down!”
After this comment from Ortiz, pro skateboarder turned radio host Jason Ellis chimed in, fanning the flames.
Both of you, stop fighting!? I’m joking you guys should totally fight. https://t.co/ozK7t6ejmM

“Both of you, stop fighting!” Ellis wrote. “I’m joking you guys should totally fight.”
Tito Ortiz then responded to the radio host, assuring him that he’s happy to rematch Sonnen, and that this time around, he’ll torture him in the cage.
“I’m on point and this guy has a big mouth that he won’t keep shut,” Ortiz wrote. “This is personal. Plus it will be fun to TORTURE him in the cage. No submissions this time!”
Tito Ortiz last fought in November, in the main event of the debut show from Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy MMA, when he picked up his first, long-awaited win over Chuck Liddell with a first-round knockout. His next most recent fight was against Sonnen. He won the fight by submission in the first round. The former UFC light heavyweight champion and UFC Hall of Famer is 20–12–1.
Chael Sonnen, meanwhile, is 31-16-1. He last fought in October, in the main event of Bellator 208, when he was stopped by heavyweight legend Fedor Emelianenko in the second round of Bellator’s Heavyweight Grand Prix. This loss was preceded by consecutive defeats of MMA legends Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Wanderlei Silva.
