BJ Penn makes his case for welcoming Georges St-Pierre to lightweight

BJ Penn issued a formal challenge to fight Georges St-Pierre at 155 pounds late Sunday after hearing GSP say he could easily make the lightweight limit on a recent episode of “The MMA Hour.”

On Monday, “The Prodigy” followed up with another tweet making his case for welcoming the former welterweight king to the UFC lightweight division.

Penn tweeted, “@GeorgesStPierre I have the most LW title defenses by way of FINISH, I would be a great test for your first fight at 155 #muchrespect”
