By Russell Ess - May 11, 2016

The UFC is searching for a new opponent for UFC Hall of Fame legend and former two-time UFC champ BJ Penn for a UFC 199 bout on June 4.

Artem Lobov Conor McGregor Gunnar Nelson

Penn’s originally scheduled opponent, Dennis Siver, pulled out of the fight due to suffering an injury. Now, with just over three weeks out from the fight, Penn is without an opponent.

Artem Lobov, a teammate of Conor McGregor at SBG Ireland has campaigned for a fight with Penn, and is willing to donate half of his fight purse to charity if he gets the fight with the former two-division UFC champion. Lobov took to twitter on Wednesday to campaign for the fight saying, “@bjpenndotcom If you let me fight you I will donate 50% of my purse to charity…Lets have a fight and help those in need!!! @ufc #Legend”
