We are now just over a month away from the highly anticipated UFC return out our namesake, BJ Penn.

Penn, who ended his retirement earlier this year to make a run at the UFC featherweight championship with the help of famed coaches Greg Jackson and Mike Winkeljohn, is returning against a tough opponent in former featherweight title challenger Ricardo Lamas.

Lamas is fresh off a unanimous decision loss to Max Holloway at UFC 199 in a thrilling fight that saw both men leave everything in the Octagon.

Penn, who has been out of action since his TKO loss to Frankie Edgar in 2014. The loss against Edgar made it 3 straight losses for Penn, who is widely believed to be one of the greatest fighters in the history of the sport.

Since announcing his return, Penn has remained adamant that fight fans will see the best version of ‘The Prodigy’ thanks to the help of Greg Jackson and Mike Winkeljohn.
