VIDEO | Derrick Lewis Up for Fights With Francis Ngannou and Brock Lesnar Without USADA
Justin Golightly - March 6, 2018
Derrick Lewis made his triumphant return at UFC Austin with a late knockout of Marcin Tybura. After a delayed fourth round celebration with his wife, he went right back on the warpath trying to fight the who’s who of the heavyweight division. He’s been eyeing Francis Ngannou, but he’s just one of many. He’s even willing to welcome Brock Lesnar back to the UFC, regardless of USADA testing or not. “Yeah hopefully we can get something done this year, man. Hopefully we can get something before [Francis Ngannou] turns 50 on us. Usually after every fight, I tell them I would like to fight this guy. I always try to pick out the toughest guys that’s out there. […] I told them Francis, I told them [Alistair] Overeem, even a rematch with Mark [Hunt]. Who’s the other guy, [Curtis] Blaydes and Fabricio [Werdum]. Yeah, [the winner of Blaydes and Overeem]. I’d like to fight in May or June.”
Stefan Struve Doesn't Like the Idea of Brock Lesnar Returning: "He brings a certain image that’s not good for the sport"
Drake Riggs - March 1, 2018
According to the bossman, Dana White, it sounds like we will definitely be seeing former UFC heavyweight champion and current WWE star, Brock Lesnar returning to the octagon at some point. White isn’t the only one who believes so as multiple other fighters and analysts alike have been stating their belief on whether or not he returns after his WWE contract expires in (reportedly) April.

Michael Bisping is Sure Brock Lesnar 'Will Definitely Fight' in the UFC
Justin Golightly - February 28, 2018
Dana White has been teasing big things for 2018, which is the UFC’s 25th anniversary year. We’ve already got Stipe Miocic fighting Daniel Cormier in a superfight of all superfights, but now a Brock Lesnar return looms in the distance. Not only did White meet with the former UFC heavyweight champion, but Michael Bisping now is certain that he’ll fight in the UFC. He even knows the opponent and texted it to his host Luis Gomez, who proceeded to freak out. “Brock Lesnar is definitely, definitely, definitely, definitely gonna fight in the UFC. I’m telling you right now, Brock Lesnar will fight in the UFC and I’m hearing — in fact I’m not going to say it. I don’t want to do an Ariel Helwani. But yeah, I’m hearing that he’s fighting in the UFC. I don’t know who. I don’t know that he’s definitely signing, but I’m aware of a potential fight. Somebody wants to fight him, that’s what I’m aware of.” – Michael Bisping speaking on his Believe You Me podcast.

VIDEO | Brock Lesnar is 'Always Ready' for UFC Return According to Advocate Paul Heyman
Justin Golightly - February 23, 2018
As long as the beast Brock Lesnar is roaming around God’s green Earth, we’re probably going to talk about a possible comeback to the UFC. Just 21 pay-per-views ago, Lesnar came back out of nowhere and beat top 10 heavyweight Mark Hunt. He left as soon as he came back off of an anti-doping violation, then headed back to reign supreme in the WWE. Now, his contract is approaching an end in April and the speculation is boiling over that he’ll bring Suplex City back into the Octagon. Paul Heyman was asked about the rumored moved and said simply: He does what he wants. “I think Brock Lesnar does whatever Brock Lesnar wants to do. If Brock Lesnar wants to fight in UFC, Brock Lesnar will fight in UFC. If Brock Lesnar wants to fight in WWE, he will fight in WWE. Ask Braun Strowman, ask Randy Orton, ask the Undertaker, Brock Lesnar does what Brock Lesnar wants to do.”
VIDEO | Mark Hunt Goes Off on the Possibility of Brock Lesnar Returning to the UFC
Justin Golightly - February 8, 2018
Mark Hunt is making his return to the Octagon after going through a series of tests to make sure it was safe for him to be fighting, but Hunt thinks this is all just hypocritical based on his former opponents and what Dana White has just said about Brock Lesnar. Last night, White seemed all about Lesnar returning to the UFC and as you can imagine, that didn’t sit well with Super Samoan. “[Brock Lesnar] shouldn’t be fighting. He’s just a cheater. There should be a show for steroid users like him and you can’t tell me any different. He didn’t deserve to be there. He took the short cuts. It just goes to show [the UFC’s] credibility when they say a guy like Brock Lesnar is coming back. So, it’s all about money and you don’t really care about the fighters at all? Some of you said to me, “Oh Mark, you gotta go and do your tests because we’re worried about you.’ You’re lying? Yeah, I thought so.”
Dana White on Brock Lesnar fighting in the UFC again: I wouldn't be shocked
Tom Taylor - February 8, 2018
It’s now been almost two years since Brock Lesnar’s last mixed martial arts bout, a July 2016 defeat of Mark Hunt, which was ultimately ruled a no-contest when he tested positive for the banned substance clomiphene. From the sounds of it, however, Lesnar could make another walk to the Octagon before all is said and done. UFC President Dana White addressed the possibility of another Brock Lesnar UFC fight on the latest episode of UFC Tonight.

Justin Golightly - January 20, 2018
As the smoke settles from the announcement that Tony Ferguson will fight Khabib Nurmagomedov potentially for the UFC undisputed lightweight title, it turns out that this is only the beginning of what could be the biggest year for the organization of all time. That is, if half the things Dana White predicts will happen actually come to fruition. In am interview that went down right after the UFC 223 presser, White goes on to say he believes Conor McGregor, Georges St-Pierre, Jon Jones, Brock Lesnar and either Nick or Nate Diaz will fight in 2018. “I’m going to take the odds [that Conor McGregor will fight more than once in 2018]. I’m going to say yes. I’m going to make a lot of money, I’m going to say yes [that Georges St-Pierre fights again this year]. […] I’m going to take the odds again and say yes [that Brock Lesnar will return this year]. I’ll take the yes [that Jon Jones returns as well]. I’m going to go with yes [that one of the Diaz brothers fight again this year too].”
Jim Ross Doesn't See Brock Lesnar Returning to MMA Again
Justin Golightly - December 16, 2017
The UFC heavyweight division is still populated with monsters. Stipe Miocic, Alistair Overeem, Junior dos Santos —these men are all beasts, but they’re not stars. Brock Lesnar was a star. He rampaged through the division unlike any other. He even was a huge draw after returning from years of being out to earn a win against top-10 heavyweight Mark Hunt. No matter what, the UFC’s door is always going to be open to a guy like that, but would he ever come back? Jim Ross doesn’t think so. “I were advising him – I’m not by the way – I would say, you’re going to leave to do what? Are you going to leave to retire and not do anything but hunt and raise your sons and be a good husband to your wife? I don’t know, are you going to launch another career? Some guys like to do that, sometimes they need new challenges. I read that he might be the son of the, in the Rocky movie, (Apollo) Creed’s opponent that got beat by the Russian guy and he may play that Russian guy’s son. I read that. I had no idea if that was even true, but I don’t know why you’d even want to leave. He’s got a beautiful schedule, he’s making well north of seven figures a year, and he works part-time and he has fun. I don’t know why you would… I would say this, it might answer your question with a question, leave to do what that’s better? Plus, he can still be contracted to WWE and make movies or things like that. I don’t see him getting back into MMA. Now, I might be wrong on that one, but I don’t see that being a fit for him going forward.”
VIDEO | Demetrious Johnson explains how he would try to beat Brock Lesnar in a fight
Russell Ess - October 19, 2017
Demetrious Johnson is coming off a historic win with his 11th consecutive title defense. In doing so, “Mighty Mouse” surpassed Anderson Silva’s record for the most consecutive title defenses and could continue to add to it still being the active UFC flyweight champion. Not only did Johnson pull off the win and set the new record at UFC 216, but “Mighty Mouse” did it with pizzazz by pulling off a finishing move that many have never seen before. Johnson used a suplex to armbar sequence in the fifth round that had everyone in awe.
Dana White discusses Brock Lesnar's possible return to the UFC
Tom Taylor - October 10, 2017
Back in the summer, in the buildup to his UFC 214 light heavyweight title fight with Daniel Cormier, Jon Jones repeatedly expressed interest in a heavyweight superfight with former champion and current WWE star Brock Lesnar. When Jones won the title back from Cormier, his calls for a blockbuster battle with the hulking Lesnar reached a crescendo. Since then, of course, Jones has been stripped of the title, having failed a UFC 214 drug test. Talk of Lesnar’s return to the UFC, meanwhile, simultaneously dwindled into nothingness.

Chris Taylor - August 14, 2017
Jon Jones picked up arguably the greatest win of his professional mixed martial arts career last month in Anaheim when he scored a third-round TKO victory over Daniel Cormier in the main event of UFC 214. Immediately following his victory over “DC”, which earned Jones the UFC’s coveted light heavyweight championship, “Bones” decided to issue a challenge to former UFC heavyweight kingpin Brock Lesnar.
Mark Hunt Bashes 'Biggest Cheaters in the World' Jon Jones and Brock Lesnar
Justin Golightly - August 11, 2017
It is no secret that “The Super Samoan” Mark Hunt is not a fan of current WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar. The former heavyweight title challenger has ripped “The Beast” for pretty months following their fight in July of 2016. Hunt was defeated by the former UFC heavyweight champion at UFC 200 via unanimous decision. However, that bout was later overturned to a no-contest after it was revealed that Brock had tested positive for Clomiphene. Lesnar, who returned to the WWE following his scrap with Hunt, recently found his way back into mixed martial arts headlines. Or, should we say forced back into the MMA media world? All it took was a single answer on Jon Jones’ Facebook live to spark talk of a super fight between Jones and Lesnar. The fight has garnered some mixed reactions, but overall there seems to be a lot of excitement surrounding the potential scrap. Not from Mark Hunt though, who flamethrowed both of their names on Mike Swick’s “Quick Swick” podcast.
PHOTO | Jon Jones is really pushing for the Brock Lesnar fight
Tom Taylor - August 10, 2017
Shortly after his UFC 214 defeat of Daniel Cormier, which earned him the UFC light heavyweight title, Jon Jones began doubling down on his calls for a fight with former UFC heavyweight champ and long-time WWE superstar Brock Lesnar. “Man, it would be like a modern day David and Goliath situation,” Jones recently told Sway in the Morning of a potential battle with Lesnar. “This guy is a freak athlete. NCAA national wrestling champion. I mean he’s built like – he’s such a special athlete. I think a lot of people would assume that I would lose that fight and when you get an argument like that where people really don’t know who is going to win, that’s when the money is created. That’s when you get the main stream, general public wanting to tune into this freak show, right? The little guy versus this monster.”

If Jon Jones and Brock Lesnar were to meet in the Octagon, who would win? That is a big topic for debate and the thing is, we could actually see that fight come together in the somewhat near future.
