VIDEO | Brock Lesnar could be leaving the WWE in less than three weeks
Jon Jones (23-1 MMA) was able to reclaim his UFC light heavyweight championship this past weekend in Anaheim, scoring a third-round knockout victory over Daniel Cormier in the main event of UFC 214.
In his post-fight interview, “Bones” would proceed to callout former UFC heavyweight champion and current WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar by issuing the following challenge to “The Beast”.
“Lesnar. If you want to find out what it’s like to get your ass kicked by a guy who weighs 40 lbs less than you, meet me here in the octagon.” – Jon Jones
It did not take long for Jon Jones to receive a response, as Brock Lesnar (5-3 MMA, 1 no-contest) issued the newly crowned UFC 205-pound champion the following warning in an interview with The Associated Press.
“Be careful what you wish for young man.” – Brock Lesnar
During tonight’s WWE Monday Night Raw broadcast, Brock Lesnar and his manager Paul Heyman shocked fans by announcing that if “The Beast” is to lose his WWE Universal Title at SummerSlam, that he will leave the Pro Wrestling promotion entirely.

“If Brock Lesnar loses the Universal Championship at Summerslam, he leaves WWE. And I’m leaving with him!” – Paul Heyman told the general manager of Monday Night RAW Kurt Angle.
SummerSlam takes place Sunday August 20 live from the Barclays Center in New York.
Brock Lesnar will attempt to defend his WWE Universal title against Braun Strowman, Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns in a Fatal 4-Way match in the SummerSlam main event.
Rumors have been swirling around the wrestling community that Lesnar will in fact lose his WWE Universal Championship in twenty days at SummerSlam, and that Brock will likely not return to the promotion until 2018 for the Royal Rumble or WrestleMania.
Brock Lesnar retired from the sport of mixed martial arts earlier this year and is still under suspension from USADA, this after testing positive for banned substances following his UFC 200 fight with Mark Hunt.
With that said, all signs are now pointing towards a super-fight between Jon Jones and Brock Lesnar inside the UFC octagon in the not to distant future.
Betting lines have already been released for the proposed Jones vs. Lesnar scrap. Currently “Bones” is a -350 favorite to defeat “The Beast” +265.
