Recently the UFC’s attempt to hold a UFC event in New York at the Madison Square Garden for Jones vs. Cormier II was shot down.
As of right now, MMA is still illegal in New York, however with that being said former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman is confident that will be changed sooner rather than later.
In addition, Weidman discusses his loss to Luke Rockhold at UFC 194, and his plans for a return to the Octagon.
