It is no secret that former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz does not like current Bellator fighter Chael Sonnen.
Ortiz and Sonnen squared off this past January at Bellator 170 with “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” emerging victorious via first-round submission.
However, the bad blood between Tito and Chael did not end when Ortiz had his hand raised by the referee.
Shortly following their fight Sonnen accused Ortiz of cheating during their event headlining scrap, stating that Tito had verbally submitted early on in the opening round.
That accusation obviously did not sit well with Ortiz and the two rivals have been at each others throats ever since.
Last night at Madison Square Garden in New York, Chael Sonnen squared off with another bitter rival, Brazilian slugger Wanderlei Silva.
While sitting cageside for the fight, Tito Ortiz proceeded to verbally harass Sonnen, even flipping him off before the national anthem.
Tito Ortiz’s cage side antics appeared to backfire in the end, as fans in attendance chanted “Tito Sucks” followed by “F*ck you Tito” during the main event fight. The backlash eventually prompted Tito to flip off the crowd.
Today, arguably Ortiz’s biggest career rival Chuck Liddell took to Instagram where he posted the following video bashing his “classless” former opponent (Ortiz) for his behavior last night at Madison Square Garden.
Chuck Liddell squared off with Tito Ortiz on two occasions while competing under the UFC banner, at UFC 47 and UFC 66, winning both of those contests by way of knockout.
