TJ Dillashaw to Cody Garbrandt: ‘Release the video! I could care less’

Former UFC bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw is currently in the midst of filming ‘The Ultimate Fighter: Redemption’ opposite nemesis UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt.

The pair continued to trade barbs in the media prior to UFC 207, where Garbrandt picked up a dominant unanimous decision win over Dominick Cruz to claim the bantamweight championship. On the same card, TJ Dillashaw picked up a unanimous decision win over John Lineker to be crowned the bantamweight #1 contender. While there was some speculation as to whether or not Cruz would get an immediate rematch, ‘The Dominator’ opted to let Dillashaw get the next bantamweight title fight.

This led to the UFC booking Garbrandt and Dillashaw to coach opposite one another on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter, where tensions reached an all time high between the two men.

Throughout all of this, fight fans have continued to call for Garbrandt to release a video he claims Team Alpha Male trainer Justin Buchholz has of himself knocking out TJ Dillashaw.

Dillashaw fired back during an interview with Fight Society, saying:

“It’s f**king practice! Who really even cares? They can release that video. I could care less because, for one, I don’t even think it happened, and two, it’s freaking practice and I don’t really care. They should just take the hours and hours and hours of footage of me whipping Cody’s ass and making him leave practice crying.

“The kid’s tough, don’t get me wrong. But when it comes down to it, being a well-rounded martial artist and sparring, sure Cody had some good days but to say percentage-wise, I’m getting 75 percent of those good days. I’m on top. I definitely felt like the top dog while I was there.”
