UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz and #8 ranked featherweight Cody Garbrandt have been going back and forth in the media for quite some time.

After Cruz defeated Urijah Faber at UFC 199, talk of a Cruz vs. Garbrandt fight for the bantamweight strap began to increase following a post-fight verbal altercation between the pair.

In a new interview with TMZ, Garbrandt mocked Cruz for his back tattoo, and threatened to break the bantamweight champ’s jaw.

With all that being said, Garbrandt is currently slated to fight Takeya Mizugaki this Saturday at UFC 202. With a win over Mizugaki, the young prospect hopes to secure a fight with Dominick Cruz.
