When it comes to trash-talking in MMA, pretty much anything goes. However, most fighters have enough class to refrain from mentioning their rival’s family. Not Colby Covington. Covington is known as one of the nastiest and most relentless trash talkers in MMA. In fact, he often trash talks fighters who compete multiple weight classes away from him, who he has no hope of fighting. That includes reigning UFC heavyweight champ Jon Jones, and now, former featherweight champ Alexander Volkanovski.

UFC contender Sean Brady has called out fellow welterweight rival, the always controversial Colby Covington, in quite the rant. As we know, Sean Brady is one of the top welterweight contenders in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He has been on quite the journey over the course of the last few years, to the point where he’s now viewed as a potential number one contender for the belt. At the very least, he’s incredibly close to booking a rematch with Belal Muhammad.

Former UFC title challenger Jorge Masvidal wants to fight Colby Covington again. It’s not exactly a secret that ‘Gamebred’ is currently preparing for his return to the cage. Last appearing in the octagon in early 2023, Jorge Masvidal retired following a unanimous decision loss to Gilbert Burns. However, after suffering a loss in the boxing match against Nate Diaz last summer, the welterweight set his sights on a return to the UFC.

That night at UFC Tampa saw ‘New Mansa’ dominate the former interim champion, hurting him several times en route to a third-round stoppage. Post-fight, Covington blamed the loss on a “DEI Doctor” who called the bout off due to a cut above his eye.

According to welterweight star Colby Covington, however, Felder isn’t as squeaky-clean as some fans might guess. During a recent appearance on Submission Radio, Covington was asked about some recent comments Felder made. Specifically, the UFC commentator claimed that Covington’s trash-talking shtick had lost some of its authenticity.

As we know, Khabib Nurmagomedov is one of the most well-respected mixed martial artists of all time. He was the UFC lightweight champion, he beat some legends of the sport, and he also retired with an unbeaten 29-0 record.
