We all know that Colby Covington is a controversial figure. However, in the lead-up to his bout with Leon Edwards at UFC 296, many believe he crossed a line. ‘Chaos’ opted to take shots at Edwards’ deceased father, to the point where it prompted a big response from Leon.

Leon’s brother Fabian Edwards recently took part in an interview where he was asked about the ordeal.
Edwards responds to Covington
“I’ve said to everyone, it’s a good thing that I wasn’t there, you know what I mean?” Edwards said. “It’s a good thing that my visa never came back in time because that fight probably wouldn’t have happened, you know what I mean? ‘Cause fair play from brother controlling himself, but I wasn’t the one fighting, so I probably wouldn’t have controlled myself, you know what I mean? And, like, he’s a scumbag innit? He’s a scumbag, he’s always proved that.”

Colby thrives off the hate and attention he gets, and it certainly feels like there’s a lot more coming before he retires.
