Anthony Joshua gives a suggestion to both Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor on what to do after they fight
There has been a ton of trash talk between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor. It’s what got the fight to become to a reality with Floyd Mayweather coming out of retirement for one more fight that will bank both he and McGregor millions of dollars.
The trash talk hit another level when the two faced off for the first time and jetted around the globe for the four-day, four-city press conference. But, when it’s all said and done and a winner is declared this Saturday night, how will the two pop combat sports stars carry themselves?
Boxing heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua gave his bit of respectable advice for both Mayweather and McGregor on the matter as reported by the Mirror.
“No matter the outcome, they should show a lot of respect and class,” Joshua said.
“Sometimes what you say after, if they can show a bit of class and integrity, will capture the attention of adults who will tell their kids, ‘listen to what they said.’
“It gives kids a window to come into the sport, then you’re creating more champions, it keeps people in jobs for longer. People always remember the end.
“People will look at the Mayweather versus McGregor fight and then they’ll start filtering down, everybody will benefit.”
