Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov receive temporary suspensions, official hearing set for October 24
All hell broke loose following the conclusion of last weekend’s UFC 229 main event between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov.
After improving his professional record to a perfect 27-0 by defeating Conor McGregor via fourth-round submission (neck crank), Khabib Nurmagomedov proceed to hop the octagon cage and leap into the audience in attempt to attack the Irishman’s teammate Dillon Danis.
That bold decision from “The Eagle” sparked brawls to ensue both inside and outside of the octagon.
Now, just days after the infamous incident, the Nevada State Athletic Commission has announced that a hearing will take place on October 24, when the NAC chairman and commissioners will vote on whether or not either fighter will be indefinitely suspended.

UFC President Dana White has already stated his prediction for the lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov’s pending punishment.
Whether or not the NSAC will provide such a penalty remains to be seen.
