Conor McGregor believes that he’ll one day fight ‘YouTube nerds’ KSI, Paul brothers: “I hope Tyson takes his nose off”

Former two-weight UFC champion Conor McGregor believes that he’ll fight some YouTubers one day.

‘The Notorious’ is currently on the sidelines, awaiting his next UFC fight. Conor McGregor famously hasn’t competed in over two years, last facing Dustin Poirier in July 2021. Unfortunately for the Irishman, he broke his leg with seconds left in the first round, and he was forced out of action.

However, Conor McGregor is hoping to be back in action as soon as June. In recent months, ‘The Notorious’ has called for a June 29th fight date against former Bellator champion, Michael Chandler. The two lightweights famously coached the latest season of The Ultimate Fighter against each other last year.

While Conor McGregor still views himself as a UFC championship caliber fighter, he’s still down to do other things. In a recent interview, ‘The Notorious’ was recently asked if he would be interested in facing one of the popular influencer boxers. Specifically, McGregor was asked about fighting Logan or Jake Paul, as well as KSI.

In the interview, McGregor admitted that KSI would be his ideal opponent because of his popularity in the U.K. The former UFC lightweight champion also took aim at Jake Paul’s upcoming boxing match with Mike Tyson. McGregor stated that he hopes ‘Iron Mike’ takes off the influencer’s nose in July.

“Yeah you know, the YouTube nerds could be like, I would consider that a nixer.” Conor McGregor stated in a recent interview with SneekPeakTV. “Your Uncle’s friend needs a f*cking radiator fitted in his house, so you’ll do a side job, and get side pay. I would consider them guys to be nixers. If I was to pick one out of them, I would say KSI, he has a big name in the U.K.”

He continued, “The Pauls… That [Mike] Tyson fight is just a strange one to me, I hope Tyson takes his nose off. I’m sure at some stage [I’ll end up fighting one of them], I’m sure at some stage. You know, we’ll go through all of these guys. [Tommy] Fury called me out yesterday, and he beat Jake and he fought KSI so it’s just like another little world isn’t it?”

“I’m open to it.” Conor McGregor concluded. “I’ll never say no, I’ll never say no.”

Conor McGregor’s interest in a boxing match is well-known by this point. ‘The Irishman’ has already stepped into the ring once, suffering a stoppage loss to Floyd Mayweather in 2017. However, McGregor has consistently called for another chance to step into the ring, even calling out Manny Pacquiao earlier this month.
