Conor McGregor is growing frustrated with the UFC as he says there have been no talks on his potential return.

McGregor has been vocal about wanting to return in June against Michael Chandler and then again in September against Nate Diaz. Dana White has since shot down both of those ideas and said he isn’t even sure if McGregor will fight this year.

However, McGregor claims he is actively trying to get a fight but says the UFC hasn’t engaged in any conversations with him about his potential return.

“I hope we get some clarity with a date and we can push towards it. That would be great for me, June 29th and then the Sphere And then what? Then what happens then? I don’t know. And I wonder do they know? There’s been no talk about anything. So I wonder what next. Obviously I got the Diaz trilogy, that is what I said for The Sphere, there was cold water put on (fighting Diaz at the Sphere) publicly off the bat, and I wasn’t happy with that. So, I need discussion or conversation, because if I lose interest, and I’m not getting anything back, I just drift off, my man. So I hope I can get something in,” McGregor said to talkSport.

Why the UFC isn’t engaged with Conor McGregor over his potential return is uncertain. McGregor is the biggest star in the UFC and many fans are hoping to see the Irishman fight soon, but for whatever reason, it appears the UFC is holding the Irishman out of action.

Conor McGregor has not fought since July of 2021 when he broke his leg against Dustin Poirier. He has since been rehabbing his leg and says he is ready to go but does not have his next fight booked. Before the injury, he was knocked out by Poirier in his return to the Octagon after a KO win over Donald Cerrone.
