Conor McGregor says UFC 229 press conference now open to the public, ‘The ticket for entry is a bottle of Proper Twelve’
There has been little to no promotion for the “biggest fight in UFC history” outside of the commercials or little hype videos here and there. But on Thursday we’ll be getting the first meeting between the men in the main event since the fight has been made official.
The first UFC 229 promotional press conference will go down on Thursday and both the lightweight UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov and former champion Conor McGregor will be in attendance.
It was initially expected that the press conference would be closed to the public. However, according to McGregor himself, it will now be open. And all you need to get in is a bottle of his new whiskey, Proper Twelve…
The press conference will be open to the public.

We all know the kind of chaos that can ensue when McGregor is involved with things like this. As evidenced by his pressers with Nate Diaz leading up to their rematch.
For McGregor, this will also be his first time appearing in a UFC related capacity since UFC 205 in November 2016 when he defeated Eddie Alvarez to become the lightweight champion.
Nurmagomedov was also present at this event as he took on and defeated Michael Johnson with a third-round submission by kimura.
Since then, McGregor went on to challenge Floyd Mayweather Jr in a cross-sport boxing match that he would come out on the losing end of while Nurmagomedov added two more wins to his perfect 26-0 record over the likes of Edson Barboza and Al Iaquinta.
UFC 229 takes place on October 6 live from Las Vegas at the T-Mobile arena.
