UFC superstar Conor McGregor is now in police custody following his “rampage” earlier today at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn.

The brash Irishman raided the venue earlier today with his entourage and proceeded to throw everything from chairs to dolly’s and even a bike rack at the UFC fighter bus which housed his nemesis and UFC 223 event headliner Khabib Nurmagomedov.

McGregor and his band of merry brothers would hop in an SUV and takeoff from the arena moments after the “bus attack”.

Two fighters were injured during the “McGregor Rampage” including UFC flyweight Ray Borg and lightweight standout Michael Chiesa.

Neither Chiesa or Borg will be able to compete at Saturday night’s event.

Conor McGregor surrendered to authorities earlier this evening as reported by NBC’s Tom Winter:

“NBC News: Champion UFC fighter Conor McGregor is in custody and is expected to be charged with assault by the NYPD following an incident in Brooklyn, NY earlier today, @jonathan4ny & @SarahWallace4NY report.”

Ariel Helwani confirmed the news.

“Mystic Mac” is now facing assault charges and likely numerous lawsuits.

If that wasn’t bad enough, the Irish fighter will also be stripped of his UFC lightweight title as soon as the first strike is thrown in Saturday’s UFC 223 main event between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Max Holloway.
